關於光目華德福幼兒園

「光」象徵光明,具有開啟與照亮的意義;「目」代表眼睛,亦象徵智慧。智慧有別於聰明,智慧並非外求,而是人人本自具足,只是常被世俗煩惱與外在紛擾所蒙蔽。因此,教育工作者應懷抱情懷、責任與使命,不僅開啟自身的智慧,也以愛與陪伴,引導孩子發展內在生命的光亮,並實踐華德福教育所重視的人文精神與完整教育觀。


光目華德福幼兒園秉持魯道夫・史代納「人智學」的哲理基礎,實施華德福教育精神,重視孩子身、心、靈的平衡發展。我們融合西方所重視的自由、平等、博愛精神,以及東方儒、釋、道文化中對生命的智慧體悟,包含四聖諦、八正道與十二因緣等思想,期待孩子在自然、藝術、生活與愛的陪伴中,逐漸建立內在穩定與對世界的關懷。最終,回歸中道平衡的生命態度,邁向和諧而幸福的生活。


About Guang-Mu Waldorf Kindergarten

“Guang” (光) symbolizes light, illumination, and awakening;
“Mu” (目) means the eyes, and also represents wisdom.

Wisdom is different from mere cleverness.
True wisdom is not something to be sought externally; rather, it inherently exists within every person. Yet it is often obscured by worldly distractions, anxieties, and attachments.

Therefore, educators should carry a sense of compassion, responsibility, and mission — not only to awaken their own inner wisdom, but also to guide children, through love and companionship, toward discovering the light within themselves and realizing the humanistic spirit and holistic vision emphasized in Waldorf education.

Guangmu Waldorf Kindergarten is grounded in Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy of Anthroposophy and embraces the spirit of Waldorf education, placing great importance on the balanced development of children’s body, mind, and spirit.

We integrate the Western ideals of liberty, equality, and fraternity with the Eastern wisdom traditions of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, including teachings such as the Four Noble Truths, the Noble Eightfold Path, and Dependent Origination.

Through nature, art, daily life, and loving companionship, we hope children gradually cultivate inner stability, compassion, and a caring relationship with the world around them.

Ultimately, we aspire to guide children toward a balanced way of living — one that nurtures harmony, wholeness, and genuine happiness.
